“Stormy Weather of Aubrey Oaks” (Storm for short), shown above as a striking juvenile, is a beautiful modern rose gray — and our first Color Banner winning Alpaca. Storm came in FIRST PLACE and won his SECOND & THIRD BLUE RIBBON (in 2 shows) at the February 2016 TxOLAN Spectacular Show in Fort Worth, TX. Most importantly, he won the GREY COLOR CHAMPIONSHIP BANNER—the best grey of any age in the show! (He’s now up to 13 Blues as of February, 2023.)
A number of our other Alpacas have Color Championship Banners as well. Particularly noteworthy is Irish Meadow’s Peruvian Flashpoint who has both a Championship Banner and a Reserve Banner to his credit. Our newest cria, Heaven’s Diamond Jubilee (D.J. for short) was born May 19, 2017. He is a really outstanding male out of TP’s Matrix Jubilee (1 Champion, 2 Reserve) and our own TP’s Heavenly (2 Reserve.)
