Jamaica Rose, Flash’s dam, took the show ring by storm at the age of 22 months for her first show, and proceeded to attend 6 more shows that spring. She champion bannered at all 7, and even pulled down a judges choice for an 8th banner! Flashpoint’s sire is the well known Irish Meadows Peruvian Knight Rider, who earned a fantastic share of banners in his day, a total of 15 in halter. Knight Rider is a black that feels like a white, and has the consistency of a white. So do the math – Flashpoint has a combined banner total for dam and sire of 23 banners!
Flashpoint has perfect conformation, an adorable head, and best of all, fantastic fleece with a really long staple! He’s totally approachable, and has assumed the Alpha Male role here at Aubrey Oaks Alpacas.
His show results: Two shows in the fall of 2012 and 2 blue ribbons! First show of 2013, and another blue ribbon at a level 5 show! Second show of 2013, Color Champion! Third show of 2013, another blue! MOPACA, with over 300 huacaya entries! Fourth show of 2013, another blue, and a Reserve Color Champion! Over 300 huacay entries again!
