Porteus' Perfect Cadence
(Cady for short), our first cria
is shown above as a striking yearling... and shown below just before
shearing day in 2012 is
a beautiful modern rose gray —
and the first Alpaca known to be born in Cooke, County Texas. Cady
came in FIRST PLACE and won our first BLUE RIBBON at the
February 2012 TxOLAN
Spectacular Show in
Fort Worth, TX in February.

Our Herd is growing...
Our first cria is now a blue ribbon winning yearling...
Our second cria, also a ribbon winner, has matured into a friendly &
inquisitive yearling that will be the first to greet you at the fence.
And our third cria—a male with a crimpy true black blanket and a dramatic
white tuxedo and black eye masks was born in March of 2012 and is looking
fine!
We've got a couple of Dams that are filling out as they nurture their
unborn crias due early this winter. Both were bred to high end heredsires.
What does this mean for you? We have animals that you will want to see to
appreciate.
