TxOLAN 2012 Spectacular Show Saturday & Sunday, February 11th & 12th, 2012 |
This Level IV Alpaca Haltar Show and Level II Fleece Show will be in Fort Worth, TX on Saturday & Sunday,February 11th & 12th. There are anticipated to be about 450 Huacaya Alpacas and 100 Suri Alpacas entered. We have entered our own Cady & Conni in this show which is the largest in Texas! We are members of TxOLAN. We've also entered two fleeces from our proven dams Medina & Cameo into the fleece show. The Spin-Off has received our fleece from herd sire Electricity who still sports a average micron under 20! The show is open to the public with free admission. We would love to see you there! Be sure to look us up if you can make it. Saturday is always a great day to come, but most likely we we be showing our two girls on different days. |
Alpaca Blast Off Saturday & Sunday, April 7th & 8th, 2012

This Level IV Alpaca Haltar Show and Level II Fleece Show will be in Shawnee, OK on Saturday & Sunday, April 7th & 8th. There are anticipated to be about 400 Huacaya Alpacas and 60 Suri Alpacas entered. This show has yet to be Certified by AOBA. Our plans are to enter Cady & Conni. We are members of Alpacas of Oklahoma. The show's name is derived from its origin of being the first show scheduled to be held in the nation each year. But the show has now been moved to April. This year it will be on Easter weekend. The show will be open to the public with free admission! We would love to see you there! Be sure to look us up if you can make it. Saturday is always a great day to come, but most likely we we be showing our two girls on different days. |

If you are wanting to learn more about the care of Alpacas, you should plan to come to one of our monthly herd health days during the year. You can just observe, or get some hands-on personal experience! This is a special time intended for those considering the Alpaca lifestyle.. Expected dates are: - January 14, 2012

You may even see some halter training or an occasional breeding! And we'll show you the advantages we've found in using our Alpaca chute! NOTE: Pre-registration is a must for these events. We are a working ranch, and this is what we do, so young children or pets are not permitted. And, of course, as with any ranch event, weather or other unforseen circumstances can play havoc with our schedule from time to time. But we promise you'll have a unique experience! |
